The theme of this conference is optimal transport theory and energy-driven pattern formation. In particular this meeting will bring together researchers working on theoretical and computational optimal transport, pattern formation problems for nonlocal particle systems, optimal partitioning problems, and applications in materials science, image processing and big data.

The event will take place at the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences (ICMS), Bayes Centre, Edinburgh from the 2nd-5th September 2019.
