Quantifying uncertainty in multiscale models for biomedical applications
Uncertainty quantification and sensitivity analysis are hot topics for scientists working with detailed computational models, and are especially relevant for models with biomedical applications where images and data are often noisy and uncertain.
This informal workshop hosted by the university of Sheffield aims to encourage interaction between users and developers of techniques for uncertainty quantification, with an emphasis on applications in biomedical models and healthcare.
There will be presentations on techniques for uncertainty quantification, state of the art biomedical models, and software for sensitivity analysis and uncertainty quantification. We also welcome abstracts for poster presentation.
The workshop will start at 10.00 on Friday 21 April, and finish at 16.00. Registration, refreshments, and lunch are free.
