The School of Basic Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) at EPFL is seeking to appoint a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics.
They are seeking outstanding candidates whose research centers on the mathematical foundations of (statistical) learning, in particular: high dimensional approximation theory, applied and/or computational harmonic analysis, nonparametric and/or high dimensional statistics, as well as non-convex and/or high dimensional continuous optimization.
